Capsho 2.0: The Philosophy

As a community, we are in the midst of a HUGE technological quantum leap with the rapid development of artificial intelligence in tools like ChatGPT (and even Capsho).

While exciting, we are faced with the very real challenge of retaining our humanity through it all.

And being a Co-Founder of an AI-powered software, content creator and entrepreneur has given me a very specific perspective as I grapple with the question of what role Artificial Intelligence should play in the act of creating content.

Especially as it relates to creating content that helps us build authority and influence which, in turn, we are monetizing.

It opens up a whole new set of moral, strategic and even legal questions.

I realized a product like Capsho, which uses AI to transform audio files into high quality written marketing drafts, is a mirror of how we navigate this time in our lives. Our responsibility extends far beyond making a cool product.

And our position on this is simple:

There is nothing more human than the act of creation. AI needs to augment, not replace human creative expression.

Check out my deep dive inside our private community on the role of AI in the podcasting and creator space

We see our role as helping shape how entrepreneurial content creators leverage AI to not just be more efficient but more creative and more human

To be clear and to restate it in another way, we do not see the role of AI replacing human creativity, expert knowledge and the genesis of content creation.

For example, leveraging AI to write a podcast script undermines our creativity and expertise. Leveraging AI to write a book based on a few prompts undermines our creativity and expertise.

Leveraging AI to help amplify our creativity and expertise however? This is where we can start to meld the best of both worlds… the efficiency of AI and the originality of humans.

And in practice, this means codifying it into the product design.

The current version of Capsho turns your podcast episode into fully drafted pieces of content for your podcast website, blog posts, social media posts (and so much more) in 10 minutes with just a few clicks.

It can be easy to just simply copy, paste and publish these AI-generated structures and words without any human editing (which by the way, we do not recommend).

This is where Capsho 2.0 comes in - the new way to leverage the efficiencies of AI so that you remain completely in control from start to finish - so that your brand and creativity can truly shine.

What I'm really realizing in where you're going with 2.0 is that you're not taking over our communication.

I'm a great communicator. I'm a great writer. But there's so many things to think about when you are spreading your message over multiple platforms and multiple types of platforms that it's very likely that as I'm writing, there's something I'm going to forget like peppering in curiosity hooks.

So having: 1) the combination of templates that you and other experts have created to give me a jump-off point 2) the drafts Capsho’s AI and your marketing brains creates for us and 3) the power to customize them the way I see fit… that’s the sweet spot. Chef’s kiss!
